The supplier lists small-leaf zitan wood as the main material, with agate, strawberry quartz and cinnabar as auxiliary materials. The pink running ring is listed as agate, and the pink round and carving as strawberry quartz. These trade names, compositions, treatments, botanical species and origins are not independently verified. The dark rounds are supplier-listed wood, not described here as obsidian.

The piece is assembled as an elastic bead strand with a carved pink component, a separate running ring and a small patterned round. Visible carving and assembly do not establish an entirely handmade process or a particular place of manufacture.
